hi guys,

just installed a new blue silicone TIP on my AUQ, and now im getting turbo fluttering through the ramair filter, before the instal i had the nice shhhhh when letting off throttle but now its a very pronounced flutter, ive checked everything 3 times for leaks or loose clamps but everything is tight and no leaks in the hoses, i even serviced my forge 007p with new grease and orings but still getting this flutter, its an m2 motorsport hose and fits well, the only thing i noticed was the dv and pancake were the opposite way round to the standard tip but they fit fine in that orientation and i cant imagine that would cause this flutter.

im stage 2, n249 deleted physically and from the map, the n75 is a fairly new genuine part, and like i said i cannot find any leaks and the clamps are done up tight on everything, its only started since this new tip instal, could it be normal sound now that its a wider tip and smoother airflow? or is there something wrong, i seem to be getting the same 21psi on boost.

any ideas?

it was the hose that comes from the DV to the inlet to dump the extra boost, it was made up of a couple of joins and silicone hose as i didnt have one that fitted after the new tip instal changed where the dv and hockey puck sit so was a bit of a frankenstein hose and as its a front mount ive got the nipple for it is in an awkward place compared to stock, it was fully sealed but had a couple of proper right angles on it and i can imagine it was causing major turbulance for the air, now ive replaced it with a proper hose with correct joiners its fine again phewww
