I’m planning to find a local garage with the Hunter kit to check the alignment as its supposed be the best for the job, assuming the operative is competent of course.

I'm sure I read 'something somewhere' that after a realignment, something in the car’s system needs resetting? Does that ring a bell with anyone?

Wish I’d saved the original web page…

TIA
Paul

See attachment for test requirements. Did you do any repair to the suspension, or is it only checking?

If you have DCC, you need to do a basic setting after working/repair on it, which is done by getting the car in the air and let all 4 wheels hang at their lowest point. Then do the basic setting

On vehicles with vehicle level sender, carry out basic settings for wheel damper electronics ⇒ Vehicle diagnostic tester

If the rear wheel alignment is changed then you'll require an ADAS calibration

Thanks for the pointers here, very useful.
Have found a specialist about an hour from me in Dorset who have the Hunter kit and can do the DCC and ADAS calibration in one go.

I'll let you now how it goes!

Not everyone is able to perform a good alignment, even with the right equipment. I had 2 shops close to me already who didn't do anything with camber, only toe in/out. Needless to say I won't be visiting them again.

Good luck, hope it all works out for you 🤞👍

[edit]
I also drive around 1 hour to go to a proper shop, instead of 15-20 mins for the other 2 shops close to me
