How can I turn off security alarm on a 2015 Leon FR

2015 Seat Leon FR

Alarm is going off randomly when parked. I've tested the car battery and it seems fine. I can't get it looked at for 3 weeks and I'm looking for a temp solution to disable it.
The only option I can think of is keep the car unlocked at night (and disable automatic locking via the infotainment system).

I have tried manually locking the car with the key instead of the fob but a neighbour has informed me it went off at 2am .
Im not sure if taking out the fuse with also mess with central locking???

Are there other tricks I can try?

I think that doing a "double press" on the locking button on your key fob should disable the interior monitoring AND the deadlocks, pressing the interior monitoring inhibit switch will do just that - as an alternative.

I can confirm thats right, you need to press the lock button on the fob again within 15secs.

So yesterday I locked the car with the fob then within 2 seconds pressed the fob again and the little red led switched off (disabling the interior motion). Unfortunately the alarm STILL went off a couple of hours later. .
Is there another option with the fob?

No, but you have now confirmed that it is not the interior monitoring feature that is causing the alarm to go off.

The alarm siren box has a rechargeable battery built into it, so in theory, you will need to either unplug it or at worst remove it.

You should be able to locate it under the plastic "water shield" thing that is below the windscreen - on the outside.

I've never ever had a need to locate it properly, but someone else on here might have.

Or, you try removing the car's battery +ve lead and see if that works, you can lock the doors manually using the feature built into the locks - the driver's door lock you lock using the key blade.

Edit:- as the dead locks will not be "on", you should be able to open the passenger door by using the internal door handle and so reach the bonnet release to get back under the bonnet to reconnect the battery lead. If I were you, I'd check this out before removing the battery lead, just for your own peace of mind.
