Dont think so Phil, but hopefully will get the new DP fitted next week, so that should clear that issue, can also give the precat lambda a clean aswell then.

Coilpacks will swap from Cylinder 1 to 2 for example wont they?

Im confused, does bank one, mean 'pre cat' or 'cylinder one'?

Or sonic, are you saying that by swapping the coils you can trick the 'jobby' (sorry cant think) into thinking everything is right and thus find out if your bits dont work?

Error code back with Vengance, and same again, so it looks like the o2 Sensor is up the swanny!

Do you reckon giving the current one a clean would help, or would you suggest getting a new one.

Forbez, its well worth a try, I had the same in thing on mine after fixing a leaky hose. Filled her up with some injector cleaner and a tank of optimax, after quarter of a tank i plugged her in and cleared the code. It hasnt come back yet (touch wood). That was yesterday.

As you havent got any fault codes on your coilpacks tom, and it still runs, you can rule out a duff coilpack. They very rarely 'under perform', they just die, and you know about it.

Chuck in some injector cleaner, it wont do any harm, but i doubt that is the cause of your problems.

Either your MAP sensor, MAF or first lambda sensor is stuffed i reckon.

I reckon you need a new lambda.

Yeah thats what i was thinking Phil, coilpacks are ok.

Maf is pulling good results, Map sensor seems ok, i've given it a clean, so i reckon its probably the Lambda aswell!

I'll swap it with the DP swap.

Tom,

the error code hasnt come back on mine, since I filled her with injector cleaner. For the price of a bottle of cleaner and a tank of fuel its worth trying before you replace your pre cat lambda.

Came flying down the slip road last night to find a queue of stationary traffic, hit the brakes, stopped nicely and then the light came back! Got home, plugged her in, same code, cleared it, and the codes stayed gone.

Im guessing this because of the sudden change in Rpm, I went from around 6k to stopped in a couple of seconds. Anybody know if Im right, or is there a problem that needs looking at.

Swapped the DP for a miltek DP, swapped the Pre Cat lambda, and its still here, will try unplugging the MAF later to see how it performs.

Hope its not another ****ing MAF,

I have swapped the N75, Pre Cat Lambda, plugs are only a few thousand miles old, and patience is running at a low!

bank 1 lean

did u check the ruber hose under the intake manufold that goes to the breather hose this usualy causes this code(bank 1 intermitant lean)

bank 1 is the lamda before the cat bank 2 is after the cat

Aint checked that hose mate, will have a look though, not 100% which hose your refering too though.
