Maf is toast as well. Get that sorted as well. Reckon thats it. Seems to have been dying slowly. See what it feels like when its disconnected.

I taped up the servo pipe for now, and it seems OK for now, but will get the servo pipe replaced again.

Glad you agrre Phil, i think its also on its way out, i may take it apart and give 'it a damn good clean, and hope that helps. Otherwise i'll be having a chat with Leighton about another MAF.

Goble, Phil, thanks for the help guys.

Just buy a new one you tight ****. lol.

And tape wont hold it either. I ghetto'd mine together when it split. Cut out the split section and replaced it with the hard pipe that came with our catch tanks and jubilee clipped it.

this must bite! i have high flow cat and ive got a error code from the post lambda sesnor saying resistance too high. Ive replaced the sensor but it turned up few days later!
Ive just ignored, as some say it does not effect the fuel ratio as the 1st lambda sensor controls it! but would be nice to have it cleared! as i hate reading the same fault eevry thing i scan the car!

Nope not fixed, had the Vac pipe replaced this morning, cleared codes, car run nicely.
Logged MAF' and getting a peak of 152, 10 mins down the road, no boost.
No EML, but checked faults, and its back. Will swap the MAF again tonight, with a suspected, Good MAF, and get another one Tomoz, (because this is highly pi55ing me off now)

nope not fixed with suspected good MAF, so gonna buy a new one today, from ECP.

If it does fix it Gaz, you can go halves to pay towards the investigation costs.

Your best bet is to check for any split hoses. If you have the standard hoses, i'd replace them all as a first port of call, with some silicone hosing.

what happens if you just ignore it and let the car running either rich or lean? Think mines running rich!

Rich means lower MPG, and too much fuel, so expect to replace expensive laqmbda sensors, and possibly your cat in the future.

In regards to mine, it may be fixed, to a certain extent. no longer getting the lean code (at present) But it seems i have a boost leak somewhere, so i'm out in the garden searching for it at the mo.

It seems it may have been one or two things.

When the N249 is removed the left N112 has a small cap on it, it seems that the cap was not doing its job and was leaking, this was replaced with a small section of silicone, with a bolt in the end to seal it.
The other was a T piece under the inlet mani, i seems that after Goble pointed this out, i was looking at the wrong thing, there is a T piece of tubing, the one end of which connects under the inlet mani, (will post a pic soon) this was disconnected at the inlet mani, and each end cap'd off. (make sure what ever you use is tight in there).
Although doing this, you must then in the near future fit a oil catch tank.

Hopefully this will help solve your problems, and it wont cost you as much as it did me. Feel free to send donations

If this is the resolution, then i'd like to thank all who have helped, and both Goble and PhilW for being vey very helpful .
