I'm pretty sure its just to do with the added weight of the bigger engine as with the Corsa SXi and SRi, my mates drive both and the SRi is lower by 15mm but has a 1.8, it is most likely that the springs/shock setup is firmer on the FR and not infact actually lower save for what is naturally caused by having a heavier/bigger engine.
so the FR/cupra suspension would be a worthwhile upgrade on my current suspension as tbh it feels like jelly![]()

dont want aftermarket suspension want to keep it oem as i dont intend to modify it as such, i just want to handle a bit better as im actually scared of my car at times![]()
