Looking good Poliq. I really wish I had 4wd on the Leon!

Those specs on the car? Are they stone chips or some sort of surface containment?

Fairly clean, but not more.. yet!

4wd is a must for me, as the roads are covered in snow several months each year. Just a little something called winter!

Third picture is actual drops of paint!
Fourth one is stones! On my roof! :-(
Neighbours compressor exploded.. Long story.

Looks nice although I am not a fan of the tinted rear lights.

Love this picture!

Heres one more for you then:
dsc06832h.jpg

There is no write up on the detailing I did, sadly.
It will be one next time! (soon I hope)

But I did the following:
Blasted, foamed then blasted again.
Hand washed with a two bucket technique.
Dryed then clayed the whole car!
Added polished - worked in and wiped off rests.
Added carnuba wax - worked in and wiped off rests.
Added and worked in "high gloss detailer"
Also used a grinder type polishing machine with variable speed - dont remember the brand.
All products were cheap turtle wax - from this "black car set"
-Doesnt even matter - im yet not too good with it, still results are good enough.

maybe I should..

More pics added to post #2! (just some things that I took for granted :p )

Also a couple of things here that I might or might not do, sooner or later:
s6301112.jpg

Custom what-do-you-call-this-again?
Plans beeing one or two 8"(?) square Kicker bass elements, with an amp beneath.
And ofc two 6x9" possible with boxes under..
Gonna cover it with black "leather" to match the rest of the interior/back seat!

Here is a somewhat shabby splitter.
s6301115.jpg

Might refurb, or not. Might mount it, or not..
If I mount this thing before the winter, I'm sure as hell are going to crush it within a few weeks.

While a new season is closing in, next up on here should be some work to get the car ready for the winter! (allready saw some temperatures below zero!)

Started work on the cat killer. Repair and refurb. Will act as an snow plough for the winter, so utter perfected finish will not be weighted.. :)

Also started to change the fabia rear wiper cover.. Not sure how it will turn out yet! :)

Oh, and the autopass fell down. Need to be relocated, LHS of the middle mirror would be my choice.

Yeah, and I
tried to sand down and polish my fog ligths. They came out a little better, but didnt really get as good as I hoped. Stone chips just way to deep to sand down by hand.

The cat killer, hereby referred to as "the snow plough" is currently in my basement, beeing painted. It was companied by my new tricked out fabia estate rear wiper cover!
Pictures will happen before long.

Also, been thinking about either lamin-x

or fly eyes kit:

Opinions one these two?

was thinking about wiring up the inner (hatch) part of the rear lights as driving lights as well. Might look into this some more one day. It might look a bit too much like a golf tho :p

img0485lc.jpg

Gravel roads equals two tone paintjob! :/

img0492c.jpg

The snow plough and rear wiper. The wiper is slightly changed, will explain plus better pictures later.

Not sure if I should keep em matte.

Good News!

Finally got in touch with the firm who threw gravel all over my car! -And it looks like things are getting sorted. The whole stroy will follow later.

Also got a couple of bulb holders.
These will be mounted in each foot bay up front, and red LEDs will be ordered. If they turn out very nice, I might try some for the rear as well.
img0534e.jpg

PS: The snow plough and the wiper have now got 4 layers of matte black plastic paint, and 2 layeres of blank black. Couple more should do, the pics will be up!
