whats the benifits in putting the D.V backwards?

Just curious as to why you would put it backwards? is there any upsides / downsides to doing so? do you do it with the standard one or 007p ect...

read a post before that said it made a different noice backwords? not tried it yet but if it works fine that way i might give it ago

No idea about the standard item but fitting the 007p in reverse makes a squeaky noise when it opens, you'll need to be using a cone-type air filter instead of the standard airbox to hear it tho.

Try searching for "reverse DV" or "reverse 007", the benefits/drawbacks of this have been discussed at length here.

on full chat, when you lay off in reverse you get a mettalic chirp and a whoosh, the correct way you just get the woosh, no power gains or anything just a difference in sound, its been said many time but its a marmite thing some people dont like it, i do

Ammo- yea had a few probs with it lol mainly **** clips = boost leaks lol but it's all on there ok now

you will only notice a difference under heavy boost, when you just come on boost and are getting the surge, lay off and it will do it, or well up the revs it will do it too, imagine chucking a marble at a milk bottle its that kinda sound lol

at least it is sorted son thats the main thing, your intake temps will be minus 6 at the min are they lol
