After months of my Leon Cupra been sat in the garage and toying with the idea of getting rid I've decided to send her off for some work....
I've a Luna Grey 07 Cupra with a Ptorque stage 1 map running 315 Brake and 330 lbs of torque. Unfortunately I've been particularly hard on the clutch so this has been slipping and after my recent work and moving house trouble she's been left in the garage awaiting TLC.
Monday she goes off for some routine maintenance and some treats which are as follows :
Major service
Cambelt & water pump
Cam follower change
Sachs performance clutch and flywheel
Neuspeed pflo intake
Forge spacer
And on return hopefully being detailed........
I toyed with the idea of selling however nothing takes my fancy so Leona will live on. I'm hoping it will feel like a new car again with the upgrades she already has ( eibachs/double din/remap ) will hopefully be a good a good few weeks if anyone's interested.......

Good work ;)

My only advise is...Lose the Spacer from the list, (you get better boost at top range without the spacer fitted.) Fortunately your DV is located at the front so its easy access compared to the FR or TFSI Sport even.

Yeah I bought the spacer ages ago it's been sat in my garage thought I'd give it a go as its easily accessible but may not bother now. Looking forward to having a car that doesn't have a nailed clutch gotta drop it off monday.....be interesting to see what how much different a new clutch/fly is.....

removing my forge spacer was the best thing ive done to the car!
fitted the Pflow and she makes some lovely noises, chatters and flutters away beautifully!

Does it chatter and flutter every gear chat he on boost or just occasionally?

every change, but you can control it. light throttle and it will chatter or heavy throttle it gives the tsshh noise we all love, back on and off quick enough it will chatter even louder! its great.

at first i thought id get annoyed with it, now i dont think i could live without it!

My friends doesn't chatter that much to be fair I'm hoping mine does

on a stock map, it didnt do it that much. i had to take it to 3.5k pedal al the way down, of and then a quick blip!

now the boost has been turned up with the revo if just does it all the time.

I've got a stage 1 Ptorque map but may get it tweaked after the clutch will hold a touch more.......

I fitted the pflo last night to save me some labour costs...first impressions were ok I think the ecu needed to get used to it as this morn when I was driving to Cannock it was going bonkers : D really impressed

Had the phone call from Midland VW today to say that all the works complete........only took 2 days to do everything I'm well impressed....however I can't realistically collect until Monday......Sad Times.....looking forward to seeing what the Sachs performance clutch/fly is like and how it deals with bhp/torque compared to old......not looking forward to driving like Miss Daisy while it beds in : / I will just have to listen to the Pflo breathing like Darth I guess.......
