I "think" I read something about needing to enable LED lights via vagcom?

Best place to check would be the german forums, they're a fairly well established mod on the continent.

I think the early models don't have an LED lights option in the ECU, so you end up stuck with the bulb failure warning light.

From what I read on the German forum it was hit and miss if your ECU could support LED lights properly. Either way they'll work fine, you just might have the warning on the dash.

By the looks of the German forums, some of the later models have an LED light mode that can be enabled, other than that the jist of it is either live with the warning light or turn off the warning light system for the bulb monitoring all together

It will be do able on vagcom mate, I'm going to knock up a step by step for fitting them with vagcom screenshots so as soon as they're on and done ill post a link to it on here.

Shouldn't affect any other systems other than the bulb monitoring system :)
