All,

I've tried searching high and low for the best place to source an aftermarket engine cover to suit a stage 2/2+/3/4 Revo modded engine when using a high flow air intake in place of the OEM unit.

I understand the Audi TTS Engine cover is a popular choice.

My questions are this:

1. Where is the best place/cheapest place to buy one?

2. What fixings are required for fitting to the Leon 2.0 T FSI?

3. Please provide the part no.s of all bits required? (additional bolts/fixings)

4. Are there any covers available to purchase without the Audi/VW badge? (preferably plain)

For clarity and assistance to others asking the same questions, please only reply if you feel you have all/most of the relvant answers in one sweep, thanks everyone :)

Waste of time. Retains heat adds weight and won't stop water or moisture getting in to the coil packs.

Picked one up from TPS yesterday for £87 including the fixings.

Engine cover part number as above but it ends in a J

06F 103 925 J

and the front lug was minus the E

06E 103 164

I got mine from TPS - even had one in stock.

Took the black its off - filled and painted gloss back and hey presto.
