Has anyone yet worked out if you can use the steering controls in the ibiza with an aftermarket head unit? a few companies claim to have adaptors but has anyone actually got them working?

i have been looking on tis site and looks like the ibiza with audio controlls ie fr in my case can have this adaptor. i know people have questioned if it works but it seem to describe the ibiza controls as a gren iso which it is so i think im going to go for it and see have a look for your self...

Is there a wire on a Mk2 that I can connect the wire on my Alpine head unit via the ISO connector, so that I can control the brightness of the unit via the dash control for the brightness of the clocks? The head unit being up so high makes a bit bright at night? :cheers:
