Does anyone know how these come off? In the ice this morning it seems that whatever mechanism is attached to the handle to open the door from the outside has become disconnected. The door still opens fine from the internal handle. Anyone had to do this before?:confused:

Is the black trim in the picture easy enough to remove ? Im presuming its just stuck on and not bolted ? Thought this was quite strange as never seen these on a MK2 before. Chris.

As the title really, I've just picked up my 54 plate FR TDI, and there's a bit of rust where the plastic stops on the B-pillar, just below the 'FR' logo. Any idea how to safely and easily remove the plastic so I can see how extensive it is?

Does any body know how to remove the exterior front door handles from a mk1 leon. I've got the door stripped apart from this, i cannot see a way of unclipping it from the inside! Any help would be great

The B-pillar trims on the (Mk3) Toledo are just soft black plastic, and mine are so faded/scratched?? they're almost grey Is there a one-application bumper 'back-to-black' that anyone can recommend that won't turn brown and need constant maintenance? ...or a better, different solution...

After much thought...im deciding to de-chrome my exterior...i have the chrome surrounds for the upper right and upper left and the center C.. I want to change it to stealth OEM..... do i need new grilles or can i take the chrome off separately?
