I know ZILCH about tuning and have been trying to do some research on the net but am not getting anywhere.
Basically I want something that is pretty smooth, is good on helping the engine to run efficiently and most importantly undetectable when taking it to my dealer for services, etc (DONT...
I have already ordered my FR, which I am excited about but am helping a friend get her new car, she is stuck on either an A3, the FR or the GTI.
She was wondering (and me too) why the A3, FR, GTI and VRS, which all share the same engine and have the same output, are in different insurance...
Can anyone help with following issue: Quaife offers ATB diff. for Seat Leon year2006 with 6-speed gearbox VW 02Q - i've tried to find if Leon FSI 2006 gearbox with transmision code GXV and factory code MQ250-6F is similar to mentioned VW 02Q but without any success. Can anyone advise ?
Hello!
At the moment I am considering buying the 2.0 FSI Stylance and am looking for a bit of advice. I am very aware that there are very few posts on this forum where petrols are the subject (almost none on the non turbo version). Now I know everyone seems to go for the diesels, but having...
Hi all
I'm new here so apologies if a similar subject has been written to death!
I'm in the market for a good value, reliable, sporty hatch and the Leon seems to fit the bill perfectly. Now I drive a diesel 1 Series at the moment and want something that has a similar feel, but perhaps a...
I've noticed a few threads about the Tdi, but none about the petrol version, and as this is the one I'm more likely to get, I was wondering what ppl where getting out of there shiney new FR's? :D
Are you actually getting anywhere near the 35 mpg that Seat reckon?
Cheers
Hi,
I'm a bit of a newbie on here but after my last post to fellow Ibiza owners I came across a PPC tuning system for the new 2.0T FSI Leon. From a company called BSR (http://www.bsruk.co.uk) it simply plugs into the diagnostic outlet under the dash, you press the button and it boosts your...
I've seen a few VW guys using these on 1.8 20v Turbo conversions so wondered if it would be a viable option for an Ibiza Cupra.
They are pretty big but seem quite slim and have the inlet and outlet both facing back towards the engine which should help with pipework fitment.
I'm wanting rid of my Leon Cupra TDI 150 (04 plate) as its getting a bit awkward with baby seats etc in the back. (purchased when no baby was here)
My local garage are getting in a Altea 2.0 FSi Sport next week on a 05 plate and 7000 mls.
It has some options on, including the 17" wheels...
Hot off the press. The maps were done on a A6 but its the same 170bhp engine used in the Leon and the New golfs. Mpas below. Any questions please call Rhris at Regals, and he will be more than happy to discuss it with you. :)
Dunno if this has been asked bfore but why has seat put an old engine in the leon when the golf and octavia have the 115 bhp 1.6 fsi ... The Octavia also has the 102bhp engine but at least the Octavia has the option of both. I thought Seat was supposed to be the sporty brand :wtf:
Specifications for the range have been revealed.
(Note this is European specifications always check with main SEAT dealer in the UK for up to date specs, as we know some stuff we get some stuff we don't)
Some light reading for you. :)...
