ive taken my rear wiper off and got a blank on there at the moment but want to do it properly. so im going to smooth it and do the lock at the same time. my problem is how do i get in to the boot after ive done it? solinoids? cable? what ever i use i want it to look stock. anybody done it...
hi guys having issues with my car, the bootlid light on the dash stays on and im trying to get to the wiring, does the interior panel on the boot lid have any screws or is it just clips
was going to remove it today but didnt want to break it,

My Cupra has lost one of the little button things that are in the main boot lid trim. theyre the bit that the parcel shelf lifter cords clip into. does anyone know if you can get these little bits on their own or if a whole boot lid trim piece is required?

I have just bought a Leon Cupra R and a couple of days ago the warning light that says the boot lid isn't shut properly came on.
The odd thing is the boot lid was shut and all seems to be ok. Also when I turn on my side lights the warning lght goes off.

Does anyone else have a problem with their glovebox lid alignment with the dash when closed.
It sounds silly, but its almost like mine is twisted as its a neat fit on the left, but the right has a huge gap between the lid and the dashboard.

Just had to repair my rear washer jet for the 3rd time this year and now the plastic inner cover that goes on the boot lid is no good. All the plastic clips have broken off now (very thin plastic. Bad idea vw).
Anyone know how much these are and also how much the metal clips are ?

My armrest has given up the ghost after nigh on four years of faithful service - its decided to stay locked in upright position. Have removed it from the car and the locking pins are mucho dead, plus there's an unpleasant tinkling sound of broken bits when shaken... :cry:

I took it off to see what was rattling and in the process wrecked those metal triangular clips thinks and snaped some of the clip retainers on the actual plastic lid.
