As above the rear spacers sort the handling a little and push the rear wheels out nice too!

guess what, went to my local tuning specialist today and he has done a boost gauge test and my car is already remapped and i didnt even know! thought it was nippy! he also sold me a brand new green panel filter for £20! booked in next week for a forge dump valve but still unsure on which induction and exhaust to go for! :-S

I personally dont rate them even with a smoothed box and inlarged air feed.

Is that the psi on your remap? I thought it should peak up to 20-21?

On a std car you should see around 5/6 psi on a cupra R im pretty sure its around 10psi, and on a 'proper' mapped car it should be around the 19/20psi mark.

Sounds like you have a 'mild' map on your motor which is still better than standard

Or a map but with issues?

Might be worth getting the car on vagcom and seeing if any faults come up?

Be intresting to know what 'map' is on there.

Get it hooked up on vagcom and see whats what. It might be that you have a couple of faults which may be why your map is only on 16.

Could be something simple like your MAF isnt 100%, Might just be that its all your map can do. Dont suppose you know what map is on it?

sensors are around £75 when giving your old one in to be refurbed, Dan could be right you may have issues with your car hence the reason for the 16psi on the other hand it could just be how the map is.

Dont go buying a sensor willie nillie though as you could just be throwing money down the drain and losing a perfectly good maf. Get it hooked up and see what its doing.

Where abouts are you? im more than happy to scan/log your car if your any where near?
