just to let some of you guys know i'm not early teens, i'm 19,

I doubt he was too impressed with Adam.. I have heard though, that whilst sat in a booster seat, you get an extra 1.5G of force.. That might be the reason he felt the thump in his back, although, that might be the drum teacher..
My Ibiza's running around 210bhp / 270 lbft with upgraded suspension etc. I went out in my mates totally standard one a few weeks ago and the difference was unbelievable! Felt so slow and unstable through corners! I was seriously shocked lol!

problem is your asking something we couldnt possibly answer, how do we know if the car has been tinkered with if we have never seen it or dont even know who drives it? the guy told you its standard you know the book figures for this car so thats how fast it is, if you consider nearly 8 secs 0/60 fast then you havnt been in a fast car, its all what your used to as people have said before. i know after my car history id get in a standard car and not even consider it quick,
top and bottom of it is if your drum teacher says its standard then theres your answer END OF!

is there are chance it has been modded he just doesnt know about it ? or would he have deffo been told about it or seen paper work etc.....

Doesn't have to be paperwork for anything...the car could have been in 300 crashes before he bought and and there wouldn't necessarily be any paper work.
I think this is just a case of your teacher talking out of his A$$
oh yea!!! if his car had a turbo i doubt he would even know about it as its normally hidden behind the engine.
a supercharger is a little more obvious as it whines.....
he could also have NOZ that is wired in to the accelerator pedal, with an afterburner when he goes WOT (Wide Open Throttle)
none of the above could have paper work, but certainly will help his car get to 60mph in a few seconds less.

na. they arnt a turbo as standard.. thats why people are always wanting turbo's and rempas on here.. a good turbo that can get around 300bhp is the KO3, which is a standard fit to the leons..

well I'm a car nut to be honest. driven more than my fair share of cars and even been let loose in a 640bhp ultima gtr. I have a track toy which is a rover 600 2.0 turbo engine with a bigger t-28 turbo (t-25 is standard) and uprated inter cooler with lots of other toys.I only have a 2.2 vvt (variable vain turbo) 2005 Honda accord diesel as I do 20k + miles a year. even then it has not stopped me from getting it mapped to just shy of 200 bhp and 300flb torque.
