So, after putting REVO stage 1 on my Leon FR184 DSG 5dr I decided to do some 0-60mph testing. The photos below show 3 pulls on the flat and one downhill run for comparison. The last photo shows the average of the three flat runs with the horsepower calculation at the wheels. The runs were timed using the Dynolicious App on my IPhone 6+, which has proved quite accurate when compared to my old VBox in the past. The wheel horsepower I recorded is also very close to the wheel horsepower that REVO quote for their stage 1 too. [B)]

You sold your MK6 R?

0-60 in 6.31
0-60 in 6.35
0-60 in 6.24

Average of three runs is 6.3

Downhill run was 0-60 in 5.39.

WHP came out at 211.

Not even attempted launch control as setting off without it was enough to induce axle tramp and wheelspin.
Sure I can do better with a bit more practice.[B)]

Yes, the R has now gone! :(

I found launch control pants in the Cupra, can do far better without it. need to get an app like this on my Android phone.

Nice. The power on V1 was all at the top end in higher gears so to really get the most out of it you were in license losing territory. V2 is much better.

It would be interesting to see some 30-50 and 50-70 times ;-)

Are those in 6th or just whatever gear the DSG has selected at that speed?

Those 30-50 and 50-70 times are quite impressive. I suppose that's the main benefit of the diesel, plenty of shove when you need it, in real world situations/speeds.

Played around with my launch control this morning, I reckon with some practice I can get this car to launch nicely. need to get a V-Box or similar and find a nice road.

Very impressive times, I measured my manual 184 over two runs last night after a Pipercross filter panel and revo stage 1 V2 install with ESP off and 0-60 times were 6.33 then 5.99 on a flat road. I reckon I can improve on this but my wife lost her nerve so will go out again with my brother. I find the key is probably correct launch and getting into 2nd at the right time.

If you're trying to measure the 0-60 times why have the weight of an additional person in the car?

I can't find a decent android app for measuring the times. Any tips?

I used Dynolicious Classic. It works very well as long as you stay on the same level. In comparison against my Vbox it was within a tenth of a second up to 60mph and within two tenth over a quarter mile sprint. Terminal speeds were similar too. The app always tended to give a slightly higher time than the Vbox.
