02j gearbox problems

Alright guys sorry if this is the wrong place.

My mk3 ibiza is having gearbox troubles

i had the gearbox replaced along with single mass flywheel and clutch. When i picked the car up they said 3rd and 5th were stiff.

These soon loosed off. But over last few weeks the car gets stuck in gears and have to really force them back out. And 1st and 2nd are a nightmare in the morning to get in and out.

Today i have changed the oil for some new 75w90 fully synthetic and tyred to re adjust the linkage cables
After a few tries it will go into gear fine with engine off. But with engine on just wont go into any gear. Had another play with linkage but now it will go into gears but feel stiff and really clunky.

The tower shaft seems to be quite looses and moves up and down really easy and when trying to adjust cables kept moving around.

So do you think it could be worn bushes in there or more clutch side?

Sounds like clutch to me, Thought you said before you left the old clutch in?

Was the clutch that come with the flywheels.

Just took it for a little drive as had not been out its a lot better than it was just still not happy with first and second shifts
i belive could be a lot nicer/better

If it keeps changing in the way it acts then has to be the selector?? Or clutch.

Hmmm true only last thing to try is tower bush then if it still aint right will be the clutch i guess.

But there no slipping or anythink like that.

And the oil what come out the box was a light brown muddy colour today

Maybe once the new oil gets round itll be allgood. Try changing it again in say a month so then its new new oil and all the old crap has gone.
