My 2002 1.2 (nearing 60k) has been easy to stall ever since i've bought it. I know its not an especially torquey car, but it really needs a lot of noise to stop the inevitable judder..

The clutch is hydraulic and i've heard should not wear (something to do with "fluid compensation" :p) so maybe some form of adjustment is needed?

Anyone had this?

yer tonight i stalled after puttin it in reverse - the yaris i learnt in was alot easier to reverse with!

learned to drive in my 1.2 and took about a week until i even got to second gear.

only other car iv driven is a 1.8 diesel toyato auris, in comparison, unstallable!!

I know How you feel

After I passed my driving test i got a one litre seat ibiza it took me a week to find fifth oh those were the days:funk:

:blink:I hate the fact that you rev it so it whines, then as you lift the clutch up you have to rev it even more otherwise the dreaded shakes spill everyone's drinks!

Yep!, so hard not to shake it on the ice. Gave mine a good few revs at a roundabout yesterday, clutch up and just stayed in the same spot with the wheels spinning round!
