1.4 FR TSI to 2.0 FR 184 DSG

Just bought a 1 year old FR 184 DSG.

Tell me I going to love it long term!!!!!!!

Had a good 45 minute drive around town/motorway and it drove beautifully. I've seen a few threads on the Skoda forum stating that the diesel + DSG combination "doesn't work??", apparently it's only suited to TSI engines!

I don't have a leon fr like yours but have a jetta 2l tdi 140 and dsg love it works great.

I have a 64 184 FR with DSG. It is a really nice gearbox, and doing a lot of long drives with work, it's a god send in traffic. Amazingly smooth upshifts too!

I've had a DSG on the old 140PD engine in an Octavia; lovely to drive. Probably the smoothest diesel I've owned.

test drove one from Seat Darlington while back there great car to drive, keep sport mode for motorways only as its a bit rev happy around town but its fine in normal D mode

Mine does but IIRC there was a thread on here about it possibly being removed on newer models. Mine is a MY63 plate.
