I was never to a drag strip, just track. This year will be the first time (20th of May), so i don't know what to expect really. When i come back, i will post the timeslip and the videos.

Thats good going mate, i have the same mods and ran a 14.8 but that was in **** conditions, i recon with a forge front mount and stage 2 apr you would b looking at the 13's.....

Cheers mate... Used to run quite a lot and was averaging around the 14.7 mark. Decided to go up the weekend of 20th Feb last year wi a couple of mates and thought I might as well strip all the crap out the back of the motor. Plus the fact it was an extremely cold but dry day certainly helped it think!

Oh, and so did the supedy-dupedy NGK spark plugs I fitted the day before - Good for 20bhp i tell ye!

I was out with Stella and Magners on Sat night. I was out of the game on Sunday.

Looked to be a quiet day, only 100 cars. Sunny and cold. Perfect

There was a mk2 golf running 12's with a S3 engine.

I ran against a MK2 golf with S3 lump @ pod. Think it ran a low 14's. 14.2 iirc..Obv not the same one, or spec at least!

Nah, this is one of the fastest FWD cars in Scotland supposidly.

Think it would be the silver/grey one from fraserburgh then, he was running low 13's last year. There's also a red one also getting really fast times.
