How often would you change sparks plugs on a 1.4 85bhp 2011.

Service books states every 4 years, then on another page every 6 years.

Seat service booking online suggest every 2 years, so does VW

any ideas for the correct interval change?

I think that it is 6 years, even my 2011 S4 Audi is 6 years.

The menu servicing thing is just stupid and maybe only for car over a certain age and owners that don't know nay better!

There will be a maximum mileage as well, which escapes me, but I do know that SEAT dealer replaced the plugs on my daughter's 2009 1.4 16V 85PS Ibiza SC a couple of years or so ago - I did this past year's service and the one before.

Edit:- air filter change at that time as well.

4 years 40,000 which ever comes sooner is the standard spark plug change interval for most Seats.

I've checked the service records for that late 2009 Ibiza 1.4 16V SC and I was wrong, the plugs got changed at 4 years along with air filter!

So, I'll need to change them again at the end of this year!
