Afternoon all, drove down to Birmingham last weekend (89 miles) and used quarter of a tank, was only doing 80 though, does this sound about right or is that a bit excessive?

Any help will be massively appreciated. Thanks

need to be a bit more accurate than that to give you any helpful advice sorry. My gauge doesnt seem to move much then moves very quickly sometimes. Next time the petrol light comes on reset the trip distance then fill up with 20 litres and see how many miles you do until the light comes on again. If im being very heavy footed i see 120 miles however with motorway miles i get about 150-160

When full, my fuel gauge doesn't move until I have done around 75 miles.

After this, I get around 80 miles per quarter.

I seem to have done around 430 miles when the warning light comes on.

1.6 pulling a heavy car at a speed thats over the NSL.... try dropping your speed to 60 and youll see a noticeable difference and only take you ten mins more to get to your destination
