Hi all, had my Ibiza in for cambelt kit and waterpump change yesterday. Seems to drive fine l, turbo engages when it should, and goes up the rev range no problem. However I've noticed the engine note has changed. I can hear the normal engine sound but on top of that there seems to be a more sporty raughty kind of sound. Is this normal? I'm in two minds about taking it back to the garage but won't bother if it's to be expected. Thanks a lot.

If it drives fine I would say nothing to worry about.
If your that worried about it, make sure your exhaust has the correct amount of holes and ring them to ask what they did exactly.

Thanks for getting back to me, I was starting to think as much. If anything she seems to be slightly faster since having it done, perhaps she should sound this way and there was something off before. I'll see how I get on with economy etc and get in touch with garage if it starts to worry me too much.
