im looking to sell my bam engine is my asking price reasonable for the spec?

2004 bam 1.8t engine

this engine was rebuilt by myself approx 1500-2000 miles ago

was rolling roaded at 296bhp on a stage 2 remap.

engine spec:
ie forged rods
stock mahle forged pistons
new mahle piston rings
mahle motorsport big and main bearings
new oil pump and pick up pipe
new oil pump chain
obvioulsy all gaskets was replaced at the same time

should still have reciepts to prove date of rebuild

engine does not have any of the turbo goodies but can come with everything else if required or can just be the block/head without anything else.

£800???

would that be a fair price???

Building a stroker pretty much and would be a waste stripping this engine

I'd pay that but only with receipts and photographic rebuild evidence..... But then I am overly paranoid.

Also, great sale ad posing as a non sale ad.

I have access to all receipts and took pics when I bought the parts.

I've advertised it on a few websites and had a fair bit of interest so must be the right price

If the spec is true youll get that money easy for it, but if you have no pics or receipts then if i was you id wip the sump off and take some of the rods! Anyone can say a block is forged when its not and people want hand over that kindve money without proof trust me i know sold a few forged blocks.
