Nearly did with ours but after a few emails to a chap selling one with 190bhp unless youve got a later one with the tcs its difficult to use the extra power without wheel spin becoming a big issue (and he said that was in the dry!) *Our 2001 1.8T is now for sale* as weve just upgraded to a 54 plate Stylance 130 TDI
