1.9 TDI conversion from the BXE engine to the ASZ engine

Hi Guys,

Seat Leon 2008 1.9 TDI BXE.

I recently suffered conrod failure in my BXE engine where the conrods have smashed through the bottom engine block.

I'm doing a conversion from the 1.9tdi BXE engine to the 1.9 TDI PD130 ASZ engine as there is no point putting the same engine in for the same thing to happen again.

Has anyone done this before? if so, what are your experiences?

Hi mate, did you ever do this swap? Mines got the same engine on 228k and the conrods haven't come out yet, but i want to prepare for that situation...
