1.9tdi diesel thermostat location

This is probably a bit of a lame question,but I'm working on my mk1 1.9tdi (2002) today and hoping to change the thermostat.

Can someone advise on its exact location.

Been all round the web searching but cant seem to get a accurate result.

Just need to know before I start taking bits off!

As you look from the front, it's at the front of the engine to the left, follow the radiator Pope to it, should be 3 bolts around the flange
