Nearly there now - Ordered my Candy white Boca last October, saw it for 1st time at the dealers just after Christmas, and saw it again this weekend with my number plates on.
It's due for valleting on Friday and I pick it up on Monday morning.
A nice surprise was because I ordered it in October I don't have to pay the VAT increase!

First jobs are to fit my black sill guards and tax disc holder. Then to change sidelights and DRL's to LED's to match my Xenons (xenons look fabulous on a Boca cos they are all black to).

One question though - How easy is it to change the DRL bulbs; I've not seen a description for these. The sidelights sound easy; just a tug to get them out.
:D

dead dead easy. Only tip. Have a good look at the position of the bit you screw out so you know how to line it up when you put it back in.

You will know what I mean when you see it.

And I agree the all black xenons are the finishing touch.

Take it your waiting on the 2010 plate!

I couldn't wait for the 10 plate so got a personal one :)

The new ones came and I didn't like them as much as they were only 3 bright LED’s per unit. The ones that started flickering have now stopped and gone out but as there are tones of mini LED’s per unit it still gives a good 360° light source unlike the new ones.

I’m popping to the place I got them from to get this resistor which plugs into the socket then the led unit goes into the resistor. There is no extra wiring etc. I’ll then order some similar units to the ones ones off ebay (they are more expensive and hopefuly better quality). I'll then fit it all together.

As you can see from the photo above the DLR’s are still nice and bright despite the odd ones going out.

Yeah I know, I fancied “supercharged 1.4 boc” to be a little different. It wouldn't let me have TS14 BOC unfortunately. I like that the plates shorter anyways :)

This weekend I’ve been having great fun driving round with the windows open listening to the change in whine from super to turbo charger. Does sound really cool!!

Now i’ve got 1600 miles on I opened the car up nicely. Oh the fun!

Definately worth waiting for the 5W superbrights. Theres nothing out there as bright and being 5W will not trigger the 'bulb out' warning.
They also do a good canbus 501 sidelight guaranteed not to trigger the warning.
