cheers guys. thanks for the comments!

and now I am happy with the car again.

Just one qeustion still:

The guy who MOTed it from Audi/VW said that my pre cat lambda is giving high measurements only when idling. The law states that you can have a lambda figure of 1.099999 but nothing higher. My lambda (only when idling) was measuring close to 1.4 which actually should have failed it. But the guy revved the car hard first and then measured it, meaning the figure was lower.

Question is:

I started this thread due to the 10A fuse which kept blowing on me. So i replaced it for a 15A. Could this be messing with the figures?
As I don;t fancy buying a new precat lambda sensor...things are incredibly expensive
cheers

Yeah I also want to know why that happened but how am I gonna figure that out? I'm not much of an electric person, and I don;t know what the fuse is exactly for, so where to look...

To re-open an old thread:

The last couple of days I have been having the lambda code (due to decat) and the sai code for having it blocked, 2 times.

Cleared them and all is well.

But today I had driven highway for a bit from work to home and went to get smokes at gasstation. When I started it again the TCS light came on and the ABS light.

Read the codes and it showed
18048 - Internal Contr. Module (EEPROM) Error

Cleared it and started car again. TCS went off but abs stayed on.
Decided to drive off and after about 30 seconds the ABS light went off as well.

I'm confused as to what this means? I want to check the ECU for water but (and I'm ashamed to say this) I don't really know where its located :headhurt:

I haven't driven it since to see if lights came on again. guess it will surprise me in the morning
