10mm non vented to 20mm vented discs ?

I've got an 96 ibiza 1.4 with 10mm thick non vented discs on it, I'm just wandering if it would be possible to put 20mm thick vented discs on there. Any help would be appreciated.

Basically no.

The caliper has to go around the pads so it will not be wide enough to do this.

Get some GTI hubs, then buy my 280mm carriers callipers discs and pad set up from mk2 valvers/mk3 20vt...

You could always buy some calipers for a Mk2 Golf GTI which fit the existing hubs. This allows you fit vented discs etc. Makes a world of difference in braking performance
