Hello - I have 2014 Ibiza 1.4 TSI ACT and am trying to use the tyre compressor. I don't think the 12v (cigarette) socket is working and a friend suggested that I try the fuse. I can't find which fuse number or diagram to locate the correct fuse.

Please Help

Before looking for the fuse that protects this power outlet, maybe visually look down into this power socket to make sure that nothing has fallen down into it as that will cause the fuse to blow.

Sorry but I can't help you with a complete "fuse coverage" for your car, from my memory when I was being proactive concerning this with my wife's August 2015 VW Polo - the documentation supplied with the car said something like "ask at your VW dealership" - not very useful really is it!

I hope someone comes back with the info that you need.

Yes, my Ibiza manual says exactly as you wife's Polo.
My 12v Socket has a cover so no debris down there and I don't drink or eat in my car which helps.

Thanks for trying RUM4MO !!

2016 onwards will be the cars with the revise electrics/electronics kit, have you tried using the 2012 option?
Out of all the different years it looks most like the 2008-2012 model but rather than having 3 smaller fuses below each other on the right MINE has this on the left side of the box with 2 fuses below each other on the right side - I have uploaded a photo

Maybe it's mounted upside down because the car (I assume) is RHD and that's the only way they could fit it? It's just a guess

In their example, the position of OBD port and that other rectangle look mirrored

That's a very plausible idea Thanks - mounted upside down - this really messes with my head but I am going to download the diagram and get the software to flip it - did you notices the 3 bank fuses are tiny / non standard

I would test the upside down theory by removing the 12v / cigarette lighter fuse. That should be the safest one and easiest to check if it's the right one

If you look at my fuse box photo (upside down) you will see that fuse 27 has a 5Amp fuse in - I pulled it and replaced with new fuse - no good. I then pulled every 15Amp fuse and put new one in - no good - help !!!!
