Yes these wheels will fit the Altea. My neighbour has an Altea and it has the same set up as the Golf/Leon/A3 etc.
I have a set of these wheels sitting on my mk5 Golf, though these may be changed again in the near future. Nice looking wheels and very easy to keep clean. Much better looking than the 17'' FR ones IMO. :)

Yes ... they do ... all original LEON 1P alloys should fit the ALTEA/TOLEDO 5P ... and vice versa ... :D

17 Leon tyres

Did the Leon wheels have Dunlop SP9090s on them? ive just got a pair in the hope they will be quieter than the Bridgestone Re050s on the standard 17s, any views?

The Leon wheels I have are fitted with Bridgestones. Have to say that these give grip straight out of the box, unlike the Goodyears I had on the front before, super tyres, but gave best grip after 1000 miles or so.

Mediaman, you may want to check a thread just started about Dunlops, just to make sure yours aren't affected in the same way as another member.

Dan's Leon with18" wheels look superb and it does suit his car much better than the 17s would. Ace car all round! I quite like my Altea with the Leon 17s, I suppose its different.

I'll have to take a couple Dan. I had to swap the sets over in a bit of a hurry the other day as one of the local kids had decided to shove a nail in the sidewall of one of my old rears. It was knackered anyway, tread wise, but that was the time for the change to be done.

Just a quick update on the tyres really. The Bridgestones had a little more grip when first put on than the Goodyears did when they were new, but I have found that the grip levels after 1000 or so miles is nowhere near as god as the Goodyears. They scrabble for grip all the time, wet or dry. They'll do for now and then its a change to something else.
