As I'm starting to see increasing amounts of mk3 FR's on the roads I'm starting to wish SEAT had somehow differentiated the top FR version (184PS) like they did with the Cupra 280. Nothing big but some sort of small indication of what your driving, thoughts?

you would have thought that they would have done something, only looking into the boot or looking underneath to see rear suspension makes it obvious enough.........

As its a diesel you can always tell with all the black smoke coming from the exhaust!
Seat ruined the fr brand towards the end of the mk2, not much you can do im afraid, are there not 184 alloys only...?
I can barely tell the difference between any of them... by the time I can see the logo to see if its a cupra or not, its gone past (and its usually not a cupra but an FR)![]()
if it's in a petrol station it's probably a Cupra.
if the driver's grinning like an idiot it's probably a 184...if he's being chased by a bunch of tree-huggers it's a diesel, anyway.
and as above - if you did have a small badge you wouldn't be able to read it for the smoke.
Tony Hancock's "The Blood Donor" - " I think we ought to have a badge. Nothing ostentatious; something like "He gave it for others that they might live"
maybe not a badge, then...

Youre really showing your age here, and so am I by knowing what youre talking about.
You got me on that one, even 'Google' failed me though it sounds like something from a novel.
I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.
