189 mpg

Whilst driving home tonight somethng went under my car. I then noticed that the trip computer was saying I had 335 miles left. I flicked onto the mpg section and saw it vary between 9 and 189 mpg. I have done a 30 mile trip tonight and it has indicated 335 miles left throughout whereas it normally varies on a trip sometimes as few as 2 miles.
Is there anything under the car that could have been knocked by the debris I ran over? I have a remaped lcr if that makes any differenc.

Nope its all in the ecu, fuel sender in the tank and the odometer which again is ecu and clock related. There not that accurate as ive seen them go from 40 - 0 in a mile lol.

I thought it had been saving my mpg up for me as an early Xmas pressie as normally it's about 25. Will have to keep an eye on milage so I don't run out of petrol.
