Nice choice, good looking wheels :)

Wouldn't ever want a rim with the polished rim like that, as they don't last very long before looking poor, but while they last they are a damn nice wheel :)

yeah i had my last rims on the golf with a polished lip, look great to start with but they oxidise quite quickly and start to discolour

what would you recommend rob?

I'm not sure if it's finalised yet, but yeah, they have been in trouble as a company recently.

I know what you mean. I think the squarer, curved spokes set them apart though. There are some other very nice wheels in that link though.

The infamous 'Best looking Cupra' thread is well worth looking through too. Search for exactly that and it's a good number of pages through the search results, quite a long thread with lots of pictures :)

alot of wheels come with the polished lip now

im really struggling for what wheel to go for as there are so many good lookin ones

polished rim wheels are a nightmare! i've had a set on since december and they are always dirty no matter how often you wash them. I'm stivcking on my standard rims asap.

might go for RS6 or just keep the standard ones.

my advice: steer clear of polished rim

yeah that was my main concern, they look nice when "clean" but get dirty instantly

i clean my standard wheels and they are dirty by the time i reach my mates house!

not keen on the audi rs6 wheels too common, might go for a BBS style rim or replica

just seen these, think these would look lush

however they have a polished lip.....most rims I look at now have some sort of polished rim!

sure one of the other members have those first set of wheels, cant remember who it is, there on a well modified "black magic" FR.

FR TDI?

that would be a guy called slick i remember who is doing a custom dash for the MK1 Leons at the moment

BBS are f0000000king expensive
225/40/18 to keep the closest rolling radius to standard (aka not put your clocks out more than a few %)
