Hi Guys

Ive recently purchased a Mk4 Fr TDI with std 16 Fr wheels. I'm looking to fit either 17's or 18's as I think the std wheels look a little on the small size in relation to the car. I've been hunting around for a set of ibiza / leon Cupra wheels but so far no joy

Ive found a set of RS4 'style' 18's with a 5X100 ET35 8 J X 18 fitment - would these bolt on without any work or are they a little on the large side?

Thanks for your thoughts

Mark.

ive got 18s on mines with no issues at all. And look alot smarter than 17s

18's look stupid on an ibiza.

not only does it look megha high.

you can't lower it without it rubbing, infact it rubs when not lowered.

Just get 17's, cheaper tyres, looks good, can look low once slammed on coilies

Ive got a set of coilovers Im looking to fit - so obviously i don't won't rubbing to be an issue - 17's sound like the way to go. To those of you running 17's with coilovers - what drop from std are you happy with for day-to-day use?

18's on a Biza - blimey! My new Golf is on 18's and they look massive let alone on a Biza!

75mm lowering is sufficient! :D

Odd few problems with speed humps and gravel/country roads not to mention cattle grids... aimez ;)

That was so funny though, unsettled my car a bit as I was going so slowly, bit like that top gear speed test with the eggs :)

How about 7 J X 17" 5X112 ET40 wrapped with 225/45/17 any thoughts? Personally I would prefer a slightly lower profile as I am planning on fitting coilovers as well - I would have thought 205/40/17??
