1998 arosa/ibiza engine

hello, just wondering, would it be possible to drop a 1998 seat ibiza engine straight into an arosa or are they completely different?

i'm looking at buying an arosa with a burnt out mpi1.0 engine and dropping an mpi 1.4 from an ibiza into it...

If they do a 1.4 Arosa then it should at least fit but you'll probably need to tweak things to get it to run properly.

if it has AER 1.0 engine you should go for a 1.6 AEE engine + ecu its a straight fit.

My arosa is a 1.4 apq.. i believe the apq was also used in the vw polo. Might give you a few more options.
