1st Service?

I've search the whole forum trying to solve this question. My LCR has 8950miles on thcolck however the service countdown is now on 400miles to go! Surely they don't need servicing til 10,000? Does anyone know why mine does this?

Does the LCR have variable service intervals? If you've been doing a lot of short journeys or giving it a bit of welly it'll want serviced at less than 10k miles.

I think the service clocks goes on KM not miles or something odd.

Yeah thats right, the service clock goes in Km not miles. Altho that still means you've only 400km/250miles for a service??

Still sounds odd. Perhaps i should call my Seat dealer up!

Let us know what they say. I'm having a similar thing with mine for the 2nd service (I didn't own it when the 1st service was due). Still 1600 miles until the service is due, but that would bring the service interval in at over 500 miles below the recommended 10k.
