2.0 dti turbo issue (loud whistling)

hi when ive drove 15 mile down the motorway and then come off. as the turbo spools up it makes a really loud whistling noise like a cop car, also when i let off boost sounds like ive got a dump valve? IS MY TURBO ABOUT TO **** ITS PANTS????????

yeh I had the same my 5 year old thought a police car was behind us. I changed it before it went bang
