20" alloy's Yes or No?

I've been offered a BARGAIN! set of 20" alloys. 5x100 8.5j ET35.

Just wondering whether to get them or would they look too OTT?

Has any one fitted 20's? any probs? had a quick search but can only find threads on 19's.

They are porsche style rims. Was looking at fitting 225/30/20 tyres to keep the rolling raidus down.

I've seen a cupra R running on 19" gun-metal grey Oz supaleggra multi spoke rims and it looked cooler than an eskimo's toilet seat, as long as they're not chrome, spider-shaped spinners then i dont see why they would'nt look good but yes they might have some adverse effects on handling.

That's exactly why i'm unsure, I don't want to fook up the handling. But i've been looking for these alloys for ages but in 19's.

It's one of those head over heart decisions I think.

i suspect the ride will be totally compromised by the wheels.
the looks are subjective so i won't comment

i like them nice and different
