Hello,

Quick question.

Does a 2004 Leon FR 150 TDI have an LSD or not?

Thanks

Neil

So I am right in thinking that with both wheels in the air, if you turn one the other should go in the opposite direction? They should not go in the same direction?

Thanks! But should the wheels go in opposite directions? If so I think I have solve my big problems

if im not wrong when any car is up in the air and you spin one wheel the other will go in the opposite direction lsd or not.

A friend of mine took a drive in my fr tdi and he is convinced it has a lsd, i dont know but he has plenty of experience with sport cars etc, and says it drives very similar to his rs focus. the way its shoots power from one side to another and spinning both wheels at once.

Could mean nothing, but don't they have EDS ?(electronic differential System......or similar). I was under the impression that this was the electronic equivilant of a LSD.

Could well be wrong though......

EDL (Electronic Differential Lock) works by using the abs system to brake the individual wheel which is spinning, thus transferring power to the opposite wheel. It doesn't actually lock or affect the differential, just forces it to drive the opposite wheel.
