Hi,
Can anyone tell me what capacity battery I should replace my existing one with? The one that is in there has always seemed a bit weak.
The various supplier websites seem to suggest all sorts of different options.

Thanks, Dan

mine is getting weaker, and I will be looking to change it within 6 months. I would just go to a reputable fitters and ask them......or go online and put your details in, get it delivered, then fit it yourself?:)

TPS can be very reasonable on the price for batteries and they supply you the right one off your reg/chassis number.

You want a size H6/LN3 battery, that's 278 x 175 x 190 mm. You can go for from 70 to 77 Ah capacity, depending on whether you get a basic or premium product. OE spec is I think Bosch, which is a rebadged Varta.

Having said that, check your battery box or floppy holder can take that size. Otherwise you may have to settle for a size H4/LN1, which is only 207mm long and would be a max of around 54 Ah. But even then, you could probably fit the longer battery size in by ditching the cover.

Try Euro Car Parts, they have good offers on all the time - and free delivery.
