2007 1.9 TDI Leon - not boosting/loss of power

Just new to this..

Have an 07 1.9 Tdi leon
Doesn't seem to boosting as it should be its a little sluggish at times and doesn't seem like its going as fast as it should. Just seems a little dead.
No fault codes or anything coming up..
Any suggestions??

Had it serviced recently? Filters could be clogged

Yeah serviced about a month ago and that didn't make a difference. Was told it might be EGR valve but its not that either.. I'm lost!

So your egr has been cleaned out recently? Not too sure then, sure fire way of knowing its not in your head would be to get it on some rollers and check the bhp

The mechanic would have been able to identify that tho I guess.

He would have to take the egr valve off to see and they wouldn't do that on a normal service. Maybe it just needs a good blast through. Do you think it might be turbo related?

It's been in few times over last two weeks, not for service just trying different things to see what problem is. He was working with EGR valve, cleaned it out etc that didn't work then got EGR deleted and that didn't make a difference. Had a new turbo fitted about 6 months ago so hope not lol!

Could just be a loose boost pipe, you seem to be checking the right things tho, id get it on a rolling road mate, see if your not imagining it or has the mechanic confirmed its down on power?

Haven't checked boost pipe, will do tho thanks.. I'm not sure I'm imagining it, the mechanic thinks it's down on power. Also drove a friends 1.9 and its a lot nippier than mine, which has me convinced now

Can't think of much else it could be tbh, you don't have a dpf to worry about so it ain't that
