2010 Leon media unit

Hi all,

My radio unit on my leon stopped working yesterday. Nothing on the screen just the back light seems to be lit very slightly.

Checked the fuse which seems ok.

Anyone got any ideas or experienced this before??

Its the standard one which came in my 2010 leon fr. It as sat nav and phone.

Is it a Seat Media System, like this?

No, but very similar. There's only 3 buttons at either side and there's a button/knob in the middle at the bottom as well as the ones shown in the pic. Also either side of the centre knob there are 2 buttons.

Yes that's the one.

Well, it sounds terminal. Most likely the main board has gone which means it's pretty much scrap or spares. I'd be looking for a new unit.

Options are another RNS310 (either Seat branded or perhaps a VW or Skoda branded one), an RNS315 which essentially looks the same but is very different inside, and some functions might not work on your car, or an RNS510 which would be a good upgrade on what you have.

You should have a Bluetooth module under the drivers seat?
