2016 1.4t 150 condenser replacement

Hi guys. Need advise. Been told the condenser has a hole and needs replacing. Been quoted £417 all in.
Condensers are around £100.
What's it intake and how easy is it to replace. I'm fairly spanner oriented so just need to know if the price is good and if its quite straight forward to do?

Front end out job I'd think, which in itself might be a good skill to master. I've had the front end out into the service position on my old Audi S4, if I had enough enthusiasm, I'd master that same skill on my wife's 2015 VW Polo and maybe find out if that car's condenser is in the same state as your one!

Doing that sounds like being a horrible job, but in reality once you have done it once, it is a walk in the park, fear of the unknown is the big issue normally.
