yes,it has saved me a couple of times.it will beep first and a signal will come up on dash,then the car will come to a complete stop if the radar detects anything in front.brill safety feature.like I said it can catch u out especially if a veichle is turning off and your keeping constant speed,the car will brake even tho you might think theres enough of a gap.
to be honest the first time it happened I craped myself as I didn't expect it.the brakes make a loud clicking noise.i have the manual on my golf tho spo cant comment on automatic but I suppose it works the same.

Those with a 2017 FR - Does your "Mode" button light up a horrible orange colour if you select Sport or Individual?

Yep orange, same if you switch stop start off the button lights up

Re Facelift Leon.
Has the facelift Leon been modified to deal with the creaking/rattling door-panels which many owners of the pre-facelift models resorted to sort out themselves? Plus, any comments on other teething problems from previous build beeen sorted, e.g weak reverse light?

Haven't noticed any creaks or rattles yet however next week got a 800 mile trip sorted will definitely know if they are there or not

And Spanish are lazy so you can found some small quality issues in brand new car..

Dealer here in CZ confirmed the virtual cockpit will be standard for CUPRA for MY2018 from 45th week. But couldn't confirm if it comes also with 7speed DSG, which would be nice.

After 5 days of driving around and finally letting the wife have a go, just found out "Park Assist" on a leon xcellence isnt the same thing as on the Ateca.

It doesnt self park (even though the brochure states Parallel and Reverse parking) but just gives guides on how to do it, much to my amusement at seeing my wifes attempt to parallel park

Im presuming the actual feature has been removed from the UK market as the P and steering wheel is P and cone button instead.
