Totaly agree.i love the facelift model and prefer it over the pre facelift model.i also agree that the new 18s look so good.i feel the new bumpers give the car a more agressive feel.

I placed my order three weeks ago for the Leon SC Titanium Technology, 1.4 150 DSG in Nevada White and was given a rough delivery date of mid July. Now going off that chart from the previous post it states lead times are around 32 weeks for my model? This seems a long way off what the dealer has told me.

Ok, so if they are made near Barcelona I am presuming the ship our car is on (Brooklands) is stopping at Antwerp tonight to offload or collect more cars and then will be headed to the UK. Dealer thinks it'll be with them by the end of the month, so that all makes sense.

Can't pick it up until end of June though when the current lease car goes back.

My dealer said I should have mine by the end of the month so hopefully mine is on the same ship

Regarding the last part, did you stay with the same lease company? I'm trying to work out the logistics of when my lease ends, did you just make sure you ordered your new car in plenty of time then swap them over on the same day? I don't want to be left car-less

Yeah ordered in plenty of time and the dealer were happy to hold the car for as long as I need when it arrived. The existing lease car isn't due to go back until mid July but the Leon has to be delivered by 30th June on the deal I have. Both leases are with VWFS so they have agreed to take it back early with no charge or penalty.

I am hoping I can tie in them collecting the current car (Skoda) when I go and collect the Leon as that will make the changeover really simple.

Spoke to Seat customer service as the dealer is useless.

Telling me the build date is June 12th, with delivery 3-4 weeks later.

So that would be up to 19/20 weeks when I was told it would be 12 weeks. Annoying when I have an Audi on PCP which was due to go back next month.

Ordered 28th Feb - 1.4 FR monsoon grey with convenience and storage packs.

Just ordered my first ever Seat, having owned a VW Golf 1.4 tsi for 8 years. A long test drive of the new leon i ordered a 1.8 tsi DSG ST FR. Dealer has quoted 21 weeks eek!! and said there is a huge demand for petrol engines not just for seat but the whole VAG group.

I think the huge demand for petrols is because diesel is the new bogey-man of the environmental lobby. People fear their cars may only be worth scrap in 5 years.

Any more news on where your car is? As you seem to be a lot more informed than me

Well, if it's on the boat I am told.it is, it left Antwerp for Zeebrugge earlier this morning where it should dock soon. I am guessing a short stop there before heading over to the UK.

That's good news then when do you expect the car to arrive in the UK?

I cant see if it will have any more stops after Zeebrugge, but I don't think it will. If it doesnt, and only has a short stop at Zeebrugge it could arrive UK tomorrow or certainly very early next week.

That would be good, my dealer expects it to be ready for the end of the month so i would assume that includes a few days prep.

Just checked again. The boat did only have a short stop at Zeebrugge, so it's now on the way to Sheerness and should arrive this afternoon. So cars on this boat should start getting out to dealers from Tuesday onwards.
