The SD card with my maps has gone missing and I was wondering if anyone had a 2017(66 reg) Leon with the SD card for maps. Could anyone forward me the model number in the red box at the bottom of the SD card? I understand that the model numbers all differ and you have to get the right one.

Many thanks.

Yeah I initially rang Seat Huddersfield for a price but the garage we bought the car from sourced the card and posted it to us.

The card just plugged in and worked, apparently pre 2017 models needed some coding to the car though. Is yours the facelift model?

Ha it's a bit of an interesting one. I upgraded to a Satnav out of a 66 Reg car as mine was playing up and of course it didn't come with the SD card. I went to the dealer and they are like we can sell you an update card which updates your current one, or some rubbish like that, for £100 and now here I am debating on what to do.

Mine is a 2013 model, but the headunit has already been coded to my car so it should be a matter of plugging and playing.

Have you had component protection done by the dealer? If you didn't have sat nav on the old unit you may need some coding done. I know you do on the Skoda' s as I've done the same thing, 2016 unit in a 2014 car.

So I have had component protection done by the dealer and removed. I had sat nav in beforehand, the naviplus I am sure and it has been replaced with navi plus, so all I need is the appropriate SD card. The stupid dealership ordered the wrong one and now want me to pay because the new SD card locks and becomes null after use to other cars. So I am currently fighting a battle with them as I aint paying another £100 because they ordered the wrong part. Stealerships are morally disgusting and unbelievable from a business standpoint. I do find it interesting how you were only charged £58, I should contact the people you bought yours from aha. Wonder how they worked that out. Every quote I have had is £100ish. Maybe there is some haggle room.

I do question whether the 66reg it came from is 2017 or not. It doesn't look like a facelift so I assume not.
